Whitefish Advisors will meet with you and your family to understand your situation and family dynamics. In this initial complimentary meeting, we will review the Legacy Database and outline the deliverables for future work.
Over several weeks, inventory of accounts will be taken and further organized into the Legacy Database. The database will serve as the roadmap for future work and will be designed for your specific family needs. Additionally, the database and information will not be stored anywhere other than your own personal thumb drive and a physical paper binder. This process ensures that all information will be kept private. The cost for this service is $895 and should be completed within 30 days.
Once all the information and accounts are organized, we will review the areas of the estate that are in good standing and those areas that will require more work.
Example areas of the estate that will be reviewed: credit cards, banking, insurance, monthly bills, traditional and non traditional investments, wills, taxes, other benefit accounts.
Through analysis of the estate and conversation with the family, we will determine next steps.
Following completion of the Legacy Database, access to the account information will be needed for further management. Accounts will be potentially streamlined and consolidated for increased flexibility and transparency. This step in the process varies greatly among families and will be billed on an hourly rate. An estimate of work time will be provided and certain accounts can be prioritized based on discussions with the family.
